If you have the outfit already and the fascinator works with it I say wear it! just because the Mothers cannot be bothered I would wear it everytime and would want to stand out in the pictures!!!!

You do really need to shop around, $100 is crazy. Ebay is great and I use it all the time. Pick a good trader with lots of positive feedback. ask questions by the email system ebay use before you buy and get a feel for the trader and how helpful they are. you are protected by ebay and paypal if things go wrong so I would really give it a go. there 100's of good ideas listed just try this link to ebay. Absolutely no contest – has to be a fascinator for the evening, a hat would be too formal and fussy. With the fascinator you will not stand out from the bride but will look fab!

In direct response to “Opinionated Lady” I have done exactly what you would like to do and set up a fascinator online company a few years ago and have seen it grow since then. I might be looking to sell the company and its stock shortly and hope that someone else can take my leading brand onwards as I have moved overseas and am having logistic issues with it trying to run it from a different part of the world. Research, research, research – this cannot be stressed enough. Read as much as you can about the industry. Here are some book titles that are relevant:
Selling Online: How to Become a Successful E-Commerce Merchant by Jim Carroll, Rick Broadhead The Complete E-Commerce Book: Design, Build, and Maintain a Successful Web-Based Business by Janice Reynolds Intelligent Selling: The Art & Science of Selling Online by Ken Burke E-Commerce for Dummies by Don Jones just to start with.
