Zara Phillips Wedding

Zara Phillips, the Grand daughter of the Queen, married England Rugby Star Mike Tindall on Saturday 30th July 2011.  The ceremony was held at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh and is Scotland's first royal wedding in almost 20 years.  The reception afterwards was held at Holyrood House.

The bride looked abosulutely radiant in her dress, an off the peg  ivory silk  faillle and silk duchesse satin gown, which was designed by Stewart Parvin, one of the Queen's favourite couturiers. This was accompanied by a veil, tiara and Jimmy Choo shoes.

All the members of the Royal family attended headed by the Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh.  The Queen wore a Stewart Parvin apricot wool coat and matching silk patterned dress, accessorised with a matching straw hat by the royal milliner Rachel Trevor-Morgan, The Duchess of Cambridge, as always looked stunning and  wore a fitted butterscotch skirt and matching jacket, and finished off  with a large disc-shaped fascinator.  The  Duchess of Cornwall chose a peppermint pleated dress, worn under a fitted jacket accessorised with an elaborate floral headdress.

The bride's mother, the Princess Royal, attended with her husband, Vice-Admiral Sir Timothy Lawrence,  wore a rose pink skirt and embroidered cream jacket and a typically understated fascinator.
